I have had a pretty good summer so far. It is a blessing to be able to get around without the need of crutches or wheel chair. And believe me, I take advantage of these times because I know that these times are limited. Even though I am not as moble this summer as some of the summers of the past, it is still wonderful to be able to do some of the things that I love to do. I was able to get a canoe this spring and my wife and I have enjoyed it more than I could have imagined.
THe warm weather is what helps relax the spasticity in my legs so as you can imagine, the summer months are my favorite. But sadly, this year has been exceptionally hot. This has really made the fishing tough. So I am looking forward to the fall when things cool down just a bit and the fish start biting again. When that time arrives, you can bet that I will be out there every minute that I can because winter will be knocking on the door very soon which means the affects of HSP will once again be showing its ugly head. Its then that I spend the next six months or so hoping that the up coming summer will be a good one.
